Our Physiotherapists

Anna Sanchez

Anna is an experienced physiotherapist, having worked across private practice, community and outpatient clinics, aged care, and hospital wards.

On her days off, Anna loves reading and spending time outdoors with her dog Maisy.

Peter Varun George

Originally from beautiful British Columbia, Canada, Peter relocated to the warmer pastures of Australia where he completed his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys weight training, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and enjoying the many cafes that Sydney has to offer on a sunny day.

Mahesh Padmanabhan

Mahesh has been a physiotherapist, with his career has been mainly focused around private practice, musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, with a passion for elite athlete rehab. 

Outside of work, Mahesh has played professional basketball, and is still involved in coaching basketball. 

Rebecca Tannous

Rebecca has had plenty of experience with injuries herself (from a serious head injury as a child to ruptured plantar fasciitis). She graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Major Human Movement) and a Masters of Applied Sciences (Physiotherapy). 

When she’s not working, Rebecca enjoys mountaineering, scuba diving, and rock-climbing, and never says no to a game of touch football or netball!

Gabrielle Street

Gabrielle obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Monash University. She has a keen interest in treating tendinopathies from her background in strength and conditioning and sports-specific functional training. 

Gabrielle has qualifications clinical pilates, olympic weightlifting and TRX suspension training. As part o the XRHealth team, Gabrielle now now works from home and looks after her daughter Lily. 

Melissa Oakey

Before Melissa started her career, she used to play tennis six days a week. She has worked as a physiotherapist in acute orthopaedics and more recently in aged care. 

Melissa enjoys bringing a positive energy to motivate and improve overall health and wellbeing.

Marisa Wilson

Marisa graduated from the University of Melbourne’s Doctor of Physiotherapy. She has a host of experience working across a range of populations including adolescents, elderly, corporate health, athletes and performing artists. 

Marisa is an avid Pilates enthusiast, an ex-ballerina and contemporary dancer, a fan of of live music, and is obsessed with cheese!

Darren Corea

Darren holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy with a special interest in chronic pain, paediatric disability and sports/general musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada before moving to Australia. 

Darren enjoys living an active lifestyle and regularly participates in casual MMA classes, yoga, weightlifting and calisthenics. 

Hannah Tuly

Hannah holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy, and has a strong focus on sports, orthopaedics and general musculoskeletal conditions. She also has a special interest in women’s health.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys trying new recipes, long walks with her young family, and keeping fit with pilates and gym work. 

Dina Abdelmalak

Dina has experience as a physiotherapist in both Australia and Cairo, having graduated from Cairo University. She speaks both English and Arabic. 

Dina’s area of expertise is pain management, neurological disorders, orthopaedics and aged care.

Jawad Niaz

Jawad holds both a Bachelors and Masters of Physiotherapy, plus a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law. He has extensive experience as a physiotherapist, including acute, sub-acute, rehab and community health settings. 

He is highly passionate about online education, volunteering his time to the Australian Association of Physiotherapists Trained Abroad, and speaks English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi fluently. 

Tung Ngo

Tung has been a physiotherapist in private practice, inpatient rehabilitation and aged care. 

Outside of work, he has a passion for computer games and technology, and is excited to combine his two loves by stepping into VR as a future branch of healthcare delivery. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Soba.

Catherine Nasr

Catherine graduated from La Trobe University and experience in both the public and private health sectors including hospitals, private practices, domiciliary-based rehabilitation and aged care. 

She is heavily involved in volunteer work with different organisations including the Coptic Orthodox Church and Habitat for Humanity, and loves travelling with her family.

Ustina Tawdrous

Ustina specialises in sports injuries, exercise prescription and movement biomechanics. 

She speaks English and Arabic, and loves travelling, hiking, painting and spoiling her niece. 

Marco Cheung

Marco graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and has worked within both private practice and hospital settings. He has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation and clinical Pilates. 

Marco speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and loves to keep active, go hiking, and explore the many cafes that Melbourne has to offer. 

Cameron Ivchenko

Cameron has particular experience in Musculoskeletal and Respiratory physiotherapy. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Masters of Sleep Medicine. 

Outside of work, he is a keen mountain bike rider and fairly average musician!

Prakashni Reddy

Prakashni is a South African-qualified physiotherapist, and has worked in various health sectors both in South Africa and Melbourne, Victoria. 

She obtained a Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy in Australia, and enjoys treating anything related to the spine. 

Sam Pierce

Sam is a Perth-trained Physiotherapist. He aims to help each person he works with have an active and healthy lifestyle. 

He grew up on a small island in the Pacific Ocean (Vanuatu) and he can still climb coconut trees!

Jane Lau

Jane has been focused on private practice physiotherapy work, with an interest in ergonomics and bringing wellness to the workplace. 

She is excited to be able to integrate her knowledge into new technology.

Thomas Lee

Thomas is an experienced clinician with a keen interest in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sporting injuries. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, and a Master of Physiotherapy.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys an active lifestyle including hikes with friends, playing sport, and lifting heavy things up and putting them back down … aka going to the gym!

Meagan Davis

Meagan holds a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Prescription and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. 

She has a special interest in biomechanics, specifically the lower limb, as well as a passion for injury prevention of all ages. 

Vernika Kakkar

Vernika has worked as a physiotherapist across various streams including hospitals, nursing homes, private clinics, and community outpatient clinics. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, and getting outdoors. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Shuchi Gupta

Shuchi has experience in public and private physio settings, in both Australia and India. She believes in individualised exercise-based treatment strategies for managing conditions, and has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries of the spine, shoulder and lower limb joints. 

Outside of work, Shuchi enjoys reading and running.

Len Lynch

Len is an APA-titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. He studied his Bachelors of Physiotherapy in Ireland before moving to Australia. Len has extensive experience working in private practice and sports settings, specialising in treating sports and work-related injuries of the upper limb and neck. He has a keen interest in strength and conditioning and rehabilitation. 

Outside of work, Len enjoys staying active by going to the gym and running regularly.

Joel Nucum

Joel is an experienced physiotherapist, having worked in private practice and sports environment settings throughout his career. He has a specialty in understanding musculoskeletal injuries including shoulders, lower back and knee related pains, as well as sporting injuries.

In his spare time, he loves spending time with his Cavoodle Rey, playing beach volleyball, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Dianne Mavor

Dianne has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in hospitals, clinics, and remote mine sites. She has worked in the areas of pain management, sports injuries, orthopaedics, aged care and corporate health.

Her goal is to assist all of her patients achieve their best physical and mental state. She also loves to cook Italian food!

Ryan Irani

Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice. He has special interests in treating complex shoulder injuries, sporting injuries of the upper and lower limb, and overuse injuries. He takes pride in seeing his patients develop through their journey from initial injury to returning to the activities they enjoy.

In his spare time, Ryan loves hiking and exploring the outdoors with his Labradoodle, Tilly. You’ll also find him trying new recipes, reading, or going for a long run, 

Jodi Dribbin

Jodi holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Continence and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. She has a keen interest in Women’s health, and has experience dealing with a broad range of clients in the private practice setting, treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.

She particularly enjoys exercise rehabilitation, ante-natal care and postnatal recovery, integrating Pilates and specific exercise into patient management and treatment.

Michael Sorrell-Saunders

Michael has undertaken studies completing both his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and Doctor of Physiotherapy degrees. He has experience working in both Australia and the UK in both the public and private sectors. 

Through his previous involvement in competitive sports, including rugby and water polo, Michael has developed a keen interest in shoulder injuries and rehabilitation.

Natasha Furmie

Natasha has completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Master’s of Physiotherapy. She has a strong passion for Paediatrics and is furthering her excellence in this area with a Master’s of Paediatric Physiotherapy. 

Natasha’s experience includes helping both adults and children in the private and community sectors, with a philosophy that early intervention provides a greater opportunity to make a difference.
