With a diverse background in healthcare and performing arts, Kate brings a holistic approach to occupational therapy. Kate’s clinical experience began in a graduate role, focusing on paediatrics, specialising in early intervention and family-centered care. She has worked in community-based settings, including kindergartens and schools, providing parent coaching and supporting developmental goals through individualised interventions. Kate also enjoys working across the lifespan, including in aged care settings to support independence and optimise quality of life. Kate’s expertise lies in blending evidence-based practice with a holistic perspective, movement rehabilitation, and patient advocacy, offering personalised care across the lifespan.
Kate can see patients whose primary diagnosis is:
Autism (ASD)
Intellectual Disability (ID)
Progressive neurological disorders (e.g. Parkinsons Disease, Multiple Sclerosis etc)
Physical disability where the patient requires uncomplicated wheelchairs and uncomplicated AT
Kate is currently unable to see patients with:
Psychosocial disorders: Schizophrenia, Bipolar and other psychosocial cases
Complex physical needs requiring complex wheelchairs and complex AT
